STRIKING HIGH-GLAZE GINA D. BARON UTE MOUNTAIN POTTERY VASE For Sale

Thislovely vase comes from the Ute Mountain Pottery store in Towaoc, Colorado. From their website: “Ute Mountain Pottery hasbeen an enterprise of the Ute mountain Ute tribe since 1970. At Ute MountainPottery, 90% of the employees are Native Americans.” The beautiful black, white, turquoise, greenand sandstone vase is by one of their noted artists, Gina D. Baron, and is signed “GINA D. BARON / UTE MT. / 21.” (Or maybe the characters that look like \"21\" mean something else?)

It measures approximately 6” high x 4 ¾” wide,and weighs 1 lb., 3 oz. In very goodcondition except for some dirt on the bottom and a ¼” scrape on the top edge. (The photo makes the scrape look huge, but it’salmost imperceptible.) If you collect or simply admire Native American pottery,you’ll be very happy with this vase.
