This is a pure, natural Native Michigan Copper nuggetwith a thin Chlorite rind. I started to saw it in half to see if there was a copper replacement agate inside but it is pure copper. The saw marks remain to show a glimpse inside the pure Copper nodule.
This is an Amygdule (nodule), which is a gas bubble in Lava that filled with minerals over time. In this case it was pure Michigan Native Copper.I break up the Basalt (lava) myself carefully and pry these nodules free.
