British Royal Navy Officer’s dress sword 1827 Pattern. The name St.J.L.Clowes is engraved on the scabbard throat. The sword is complete with its original scabbard and sword knot. Has legible blade etching and the white shagreen grip intact. Leader is worn on the scabbard and some blade patina. Blade: Acid-etched decoration is visible.

Estimated period: Victorian era 1850-1900
