Beautiful and hard to find hand-painted figural double salt dip by Herend Hungary in the Rothschild Bird pattern 258-01-01/RO. Features a young child or cherub holding a small yellow bird, sitting on a gilt-painted tree with by two small bowls wrapped in branches, each with birds on branches on the interior. Base is marked with the Herend stamp and pattern # 258-01-01/RO. Measures approximately 5 1/2\" long x 2\" wide x 3 1/2\" high and is in Mint to near mint condition free of nicks, fleabites or wear.
