Like New In Box -- opened, but never used, never cut, and never carried. As soon as I took the knife out of the box, I realized that it was just too large for me to carry. If you\'re looking at this seriously, then you likely know the Recon 1 is one of the most reliable, strongest, toughest, workhorse knives out there, and this one has an excellent blade steel. The Tri-Ad Back Lock is one of the best, and contributes significantly to the knife\'s strength and reliability.
It came to me in a box that says the blade shape is a clip point and the handle is made of G10, but of course the blade shape is tango, and I\'m pretty sure the handle is Glass Reinforced Nylon. Althoughithas only a right-handed pocket clip, the Recon 1 is so popular that it\'s easy to find a left-handed clip (which it will accommodate), or alternate handles, etc.
