Antique c1907 German Postcard With Silver Dresden Ornament Urn w/Flowers/Ribbons For Sale

A striking framed old German postcard in the Kunst Karten tradition, featuring a silver Dresden urn filled with dried mosses, fern and grasses, and decorated with four cutout velveteen flowers on top of a frame adorned with silk ribbon bows. Needless to say, after 125 years the foliage is rough, the ribbons tattered but the flowers and urn still lovely. The Dresden urn is intact and has minor wear of the silver on its body showing the cardboard beneath. It is in a 6-1/4 by 4 inch frame with no original backing. The back says G-A Novelty Art Series No 1288 ( 6 des.) printed in Germany. It is pencil addressed to Earl Mauck, Francisco, Indiana ( a small town just north of Evansville) RR#26 but not stamped. I acquired it about 20 years ago at a Xmas sale. Can’t guarantee it will ship with old grasses intact.
