This is an original 1942 Auburn University Glomerata yearbook from the WWII era. The cover shows typical age wear for this edition, including mild fading of the handwritten-style year text and light surface soil from decades of handling. The cloth-textured cover retains its original graphics and presents well overall.
The interior pages display a uniform “wavy” texture from age and storage, which is common in yearbooks of this period. Photos and text remain crisp, clear, and fully readable. The book closes tightly with no swelling, and the binding remains strong throughout.
The final advertising section shows light water waviness affecting approximately ten pages, with very faint staining that does not interfere with readability or the advertisements themselves. No stuck pages or tide marks are present.
One blank page contains a small hand-drawn sketch from the original student owner. No other writing or markings were found.
A solid, well-preserved example of a WWII-era Auburn yearbook, ideal for collectors, alumni, and historians.
