This original 1935 card was issued by J. Wix & Sons Ltd. for their cigarette brands, including Kensitas. It is part of the first series of the legendary \"Henry\'s Adventures\" set, which eventually grew to include 250 cards across five series.
The History of Henry:Henry was the accidental creation of 67-year-old American cartoonist Carl Anderson in 1932. Originally appearing in The Saturday Evening Post, the character was a bald, mute boy who communicated almost entirely through pantomime. The character was such a global sensation that William Randolph Hearst signed Anderson to King Features Syndicate after seeing the strip\'s popularity in Germany.
