Beautifully refurbished early PENNWOOD Desk / Shelf Clock. This clock has been completely, disassembled and refurbished. Case was stripped and re-stained, then refinished in multiple coats of clear satin finish lacquer. Movement was ultrasonically cleaned, lubricated and adjusted for proper operation. This movement is an early, manual start version and is started by gently spinning a thumbwheel located next to the clock numerals. New period style line cord and vintage wall plug was installed for safety. Don't miss out on this scarce beauty. Perfect for the den, library, man cave or vintage clock collection!Please Note: The clock currently runs fine, however, due to age and design of this early movement it is not silent.Tested for accuracy for 48 hours and didn't gain or lose any timeduring that period. Future accuracy cannot be guaranteed.While this clock has been completely refurbished, and is currently workingproperly, it is still 90+ years old and could fail at any time.
