Features rows of large Dresden Plate flower blocks with mustard yellow centers on an off-white cotton ground. The flower petals are pieced from a wide assortment of colorful vintage feedsack and calico fabrics including florals, geometrics, stripes, checks, polka dots and novelty-style prints.
An interesting feature is the decorative border made from individual pointed pieces of coordinating printed fabrics, giving the quilt top a distinctive scalloped or petal-like edge.
Machine stitched construction This is an unfinished quilt top only and does not have batting or a finished quilt backing.
A large assortment of different vintage fabrics is represented throughout the quilt, making this suitable for a vintage textile collection, quilt study, display, restoration project or completion into a finished quilt.

Condition
Vintage unfinished quilt top with age and use-related condition issues. There are areas of yellow/brown staining and spotting, including noticeable larger discolored areas as shown in the photographs. Smaller spots are also present.
The back of the quilt top has fraying along some of the raw seam allowances where the individual fabric pieces were stitched together. Loose threads and frayed fabric edges are visible on the reverse. The decorative outer border also has raw/fraying edges and loose threads in areas. Please review the close-up and reverse photographs carefully.
