Two Vintage 1990s Jonathan Adler Pot A Porter Ribbed Bottle Vases
Set of 2 complementary extended neck narrow bottle vases in an olive green with subtle tonal variations
The vases are similar but different. Same earthy, muted olive (khaki green) glaze. Different sizes. Similarities: horizontal parallel ridges (the smaller vase has heavier ribbing), slender necks, shapes.
Dimensions are approximate. Each has 3" base diameter.
-Taller vase: 8-1/4" tall. 3" diameter at widest. 1" opening diameter.
-Slightly shortervase: 7" tall. 3" diameter at widest. 15/16" opening diameter.

about the Jonathan Adler Pot A Porter collection
Before Jonathan Adler became known for his pop-glam home decor, he was a studio potter.Adler's Pot A Porter collection was an iconic line of vintage handmade organic, minimalist pottery produced in Peru by Adler artisans in the 1990s. Molds were made from Adler prototypes and then each piece was hand crafted from high-fired stoneware or porcelain. The Peruvian workshop was founded through Aid to Artisans, a non-profit organization connecting designers in America with artisans in developing countries to promote fair trade.Pot A Porter (also called Pot Au Porter) was part of Adler’s initial collection after launching his brand.
