The REFLECTOR Vintage Campus Student Newspaper - Ephemera
This original issue of The Reflector, the student newspaper of Mississippi State University, is dated 1973 — a fascinating year in American and university campus history. These papers offer an authentic snapshot of student life toward the end of the Vietnam era, including coverage of national events, politics, campus activities, sports, music and movies, and student perspectives of the time.
Each issue is original and unrestored. As expected for newspapers over 50 years old, the paper is fragile, yellowed with age, and brittle. Pages may show edge wear, small tears, or chipping, and should be handled with care. These are not reprints.
A wonderful primary-source/piece of Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS, and American history.
Specific headlines, featured topics, and names include: Sydney Tucker, Jeff Stroman, Gov. Bill Wallner, William F. Minor, Richard Nixon, Senator James Eastland, and MSU beer gardens.
Proceeds from the sale of this item benefit the Friends of the Library, Starkville, MS, supporting local library programs and services. To view all of our available listings, />
