Rare and Beautiful BP Jum Rusticated Hawkbill Underslung Apple Tobacco Pipe 1940s-50s
Rumored to be associated with Custom-Bilt, or at least the Makers of Custom-Bilt working for Biltmore pipes, as part of their Jumbo line, thus the abbreviated naming Biltmore Pipes Jumbo was rendered BP JUM., whatever the case maybe, it's easy to see why they are often considered To be Custom-Bilt made,
the Rustication and finish are a dead ringer for Tracy Mincer era Custom-Bilt's.
Beautiful Hawkbill with an Underslung shaping, similar to Jobey's Extra Underslung shape, a nice Plumb Apple that fits the Hand perfectly.
The Chamber is in Outstanding Lightly Smoked Condition and is perfectly uniform.
The Vulcanite Fishtail Stem is Jet black and Chatter Free.
** The stem can accommodate a 6mm filter, However I've included a New Removable Reducer insert for those that prefer a non-filtered pipe.
