This is a wonderful piece of history, a hand puppet representing an American Plains Indian. He is of unknown origin but was hand crafted many years ago , skillfully hand carved and painted.His hair is made of yarn.His glove portion may have been a replacement for an earlier one. It also has hand done beadwork on it.The size indicates it was not made for a child but for anadult who may have included him in a puppet show of some kind.Thus item is sold as gently used.
