Original leather case, 1840s, for half plate images. Dimensions of the covers are 6" x 4.75".

Good antique condition overall .. .it's missing one of its hook clasps, the covers are separated and it's also the interior rail on the pad side. Still a good 1840s case to protect any loose half plates!
