The replica Pinocchio maquette was made under the careful supervision of the filmmakers, who supplied an original filming maquette. This was used to cast a new 1:1 scale mold for the replica, which is made of polyresin over a metal armature. The original sculptors at ShadowMachine personally supervised the painting and approved the model at every stage.
The collector’s edition also includes a limited-edition of the bookGuillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio: A Timeless Tale Told Anewwith a unique cover illustration—created by Guy Davis—two exclusive gatefolds, and a wealth of previously unseen insert items. The book and maquette are presented in a bespoke wooden presentation case that features engraved details.
