She is dressed in a dark heavy daytime dress bodice highlighted by a high neckline, a flat white structured rounded collar, and a small circular decorative brooch pin at her throat. She is captured in a natural pose sitting back comfortably while resting her right arm over a plush upholstered Victorian studio armchair.The photograph is presented on its original thin card stock mount featuring period-correct rounded corners and a completely plain card face without printed border rules. The reverse features a spectacular, beautifully preserved illustrative green ink backstamp for G. W. Weiser, operating at the corner of 4th and Market Streets in Steubenville, Ohio.
